Bio

Born in 1991 in the suburbs of Paris, François has always devoured books and dreamed of writing himself. At 7, he scribbled his first stories in small notebooks; by the age of 10, he wanted nothing else than becoming a writer.

Both curious and a straight-A student, he got his French baccalaureate specialising in literature (as well as English, maths, and ancient Greek), and got accepted at SciencesPo (a highly selective, internationally renowned university), where he founded an online cultural journal.

A lover of theater and a fan of Shakespeare, he studied playwriting with Samuel Brett Williams at Rutgers University, and sometimes performed on stage.

He worked for nearly 10 years for fashion and culture magazines, first as an assistant and then as editor-in-chief.

In 2015, he became a freelance consultant (communication, education, content creation), in order to devote as much time as possible to writing.

Passionate about cooking, yoga, travel and languages, François has lived in the United States, India and Australia.
